As any experienced Lake Como photographer will tell you, there is no need for an extended boat photoshoot—just enough to create stunning, effortless images!
- Finally, take advantage of your wedding villa if you are staying there the day before the wedding. Since most villas offer stunning interiors, we can take advantage of the indoor spaces in case of rain.
What’s the best season for pre-wedding photos?
Autumn and fall are ideal seasons for Lake Como engagement shoots, with milder temperatures and fewer tourists. However, since the weather can be unpredictable, having an indoor space, such as a rented villa, ensures a stress-free experience. That said, I’m more than comfortable photographing in the rain to create beautifully romantic images.
I usually recommend scheduling pre-wedding sessions the day before the wedding rather than on a separate day, precisely because access to the wedding villa is a great backup in case of bad weather.
