Start with the sunset time, and schedule backwards in 2-hour slots. E.g. estimate that ceremony should typically be 2 hours before sunset, and Bridal Prep 2 hours behind the ceremony's beginning.
Schedule your ceremony to end 1-2 hours before sunset. This gives us the best natural light for portraits. I'll work with your planner to structure the day accordingly.
Build buffer time into your timeline. Simple tasks often take longer than expected, and twenty extra minutes in the morning compounds throughout the day.
Choose a room with white walls, large windows, and minimal clutter. The bedroom works, but any space with these qualities will do. Consider the size and what appears in the background.
If possible, use a separate room for hair and makeup. This keeps the portrait space clear.
