There’s no heart immune to the romance of Lake Como. The seductive allure of Lake Como enters in any lover’s soul, and remains there forever. 

A privileged place for all sensitive souls, with its alchemic light tricks, the suggestive magic of Lake Como has inspired painters, composers, philosophers, and lovers.

Here, the protagonist is always the landscape, with daily life flowing in its serene rhythm.

It was here, on his own honeymoon in 1833, that William Talbot reflected on the idea of imprinting all of the Lake’s beauty forever on paper, which led him to invent photography!
