A Two-Day Black-Tie Tuscany Wedding at Villa Pazzi in Tuscany
Imagine a two-day celebration set against the grandeur of Villa Pazzi, an exquisite Tuscan villa renowned for its historic charm and breathtaking scenery. Surrounded by the famous Coppedè statues, this elegant wedding truly embraced the essence of la dolce vita, making it a perfect choice for a Tuscany wedding.
The couple’s wedding vision unfolded in a way that was nothing short of poetic. The original plan was altered by a change in weather, but the villa’s ancient interiors provided a stunning Plan B. The dinner was moved inside to the villa’s vast Ballroom gallery, where Coppedè’s iconic statues stood tall, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, casting a magical ambiance throughout the night. Though words may fall short of describing this enchanting day, the photographs captured every fleeting moment of beauty.
A year-long postponement made the couple’s dream wedding in Villa Pazzi even more meaningful. From the romantic outdoor ceremony to the intimate garden portrait session, every corner of the venue was utilized to perfection. The pastel frescoes adorning the walls added a touch of timeless elegance to the getting-ready photos, making them a cherished memory. This styled wedding truly embodied the spirit of a wedding in Tuscany, capturing the timeless beauty and allure of the region.
Guests were first invited to the villa’s altana, where they sipped aperitifs while the couple and wedding party completed their photo session in the stunning Italian garden. Once the photographs were finished, Kelsey changed her look for the dinner, opting for a sleeker, more sophisticated style.
The evening’s events took a heartwarming turn when Kelsey’s father toasted to the couple’s future, celebrating the ideals of la dolce vita. This emotional moment led to the dramatic entrance into the Galleria, modeled after the Uffizi Gallery, where guests were seated at a candlelit imperial table. The evening’s soundtrack, a string arrangement of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” accompanied the dinner, which combined contemporary music, Renaissance artwork, and traditional Tuscan cuisine. The wine, a 2015 Bovio Barolo, complemented the evening’s festivities, adding an extra layer of sophistication to an unforgettable celebration.
This Villa Pazzi wedding is a perfect example of the elegance and beauty that Tuscany offers as a destination for a truly memorable wedding. From the enchanting setting to the meticulously curated details, it’s a celebration that will be remembered for years to come.
A celebration of elemental intervention
A plan B embraced the poetry of the ancient interiors of Villa Pazzi, and the dinner moved inside the vast Ballroom gallery, surrounded by Coppedè’s famous statues, scattered with candles and drenched in moonlight. No words can express the magic of day, but somehow the pictures do.
The one-year wait was well worth it when these two finally got to tie the knot in this epic Tuscan villa. From the outdoor ceremony to the garden portrait session, they really made the most of the entire location. The original pastel frescos added a special touch to the getting-ready photos as well! This beautifully styled wedding truly captured the essence of la dolce vita.
Threatened with rain and stormy skies, Kelsey and Alex’s wedding, at the sweeping estate of Villa Pazzi, was a celebration of elemental intervention.
